| ...OK, well I've finally done it. I've just ordered the bumper from 4WD. I called before placing the order, it is supposed to come with the fairlead mount (I'm using this as also a note to myself). Well hopefully within a week I will have the bumper on the Jeep, along with my T-Max winch that has been sitting in the living room for several months. I'll have pics and all later. | |

| Well, the bumper was delivered on Thursday! Opened the package, bumper looked good. But guess what, no fairlead mount as I was told. OK, I knew the bumper was going to be put on by myself. So I thought, the least I could do was put on the T-Max winch that has been sitting for several months. Ugh, because its a comp winch the mounting holes were different. Yes, I know I should have thought of that but o'well. Hmm, time to pick up the phone. Ring. Ring. Hey George, its Joe. George was willing to help me (as he is just good like that). Friday (today) I went to G's. He drilled the holes out and everything. Yes, he basically did it all (as he is just good like that). Then its time to help George put my bumper on (like that...lol). As I'm holding the bumper, G say ok let go. Hmmm, I look down and there a 2 inch or so gap from the back of the bumper to the Jeep grill. Ugh. Look at the bumper head on...it looks pretty good. BUT, look at the bumper from the side. Well, it looks like shit. From the back of the bumper to the Jeep's body there is a 3-4 inch gap! So, I've done it again (Rancho was 1st). Spend this freak'n $$$ and the shit ain't right! Going to talk w/4WheelParts tomorrow! NO THERE ARE NO PICS...AND DON'T PLAN ON TAKING ANY UNTIL ITS FIXED (which means G is prob going to have to cut 3 inches off the frame). So thats my story. | |

| I saw your rig (it was your rig - right...) at the meet and it didnt look that bad to me. I realize that it bothers you so you gotta get it right for you but I had to look hard to notice it isnt supposed to look like that. Its not as obvoius as N2s big "A" gap on his new RR bumper..... | |

The irony is that you were so picky about the bumper, took you forever to pick one out that had just the right look from the front. Go figure it would look bad from the side view. | |
