WE HAVE A BLEEDER

Many thanks to Shannon for putting up with me today.

And many, many thanks to Steve for installing my antenna and CB. It could not look any better or be any cleaner of an install.

I was handicapped with a nail thru the foot yesterday, so I just kinda hobbled around. To make matters worse, somehow I cut the top of my hand on the antenna box. I didnt think it was that bad until I had blood dripping all down my hand and on Steve's driveway. I was able to get most of it with a towel I had in the Jeep.

When I got home, I showed the towel to Claudina. She thought someone had slaughtered a hog...

I do bleed kinda freely....LOLOL.

Again, more thanks than I can give to Shannon and Steve...............

The only guy I know that can cut himself while supervising!

I will pack extra supplies in the first aid kit just in case we need a few more items....LOL Glad your ok, and you are going to have a blast with us on the CB's all the way to Tree's.

I wish. Claudina does not get off of work until 10:30. But we are gonna haul butt as soon as she gets off.

We were thinking of going I-10 to SA, 90 to Sabinal, then to RR 187, 187 to 83 & 83 straight to Leakey.

Or something like that.....

If I can get my stupid foot healed up...I don't want to hop around like a half-ass wounded fat rabbit all weekend.

I was so mad awhile ago.

I was inside the Jeep, trying to install my new CB mike mount. Just like Steve said, it was a piece of cake. He had faith in me....LOL.... Used a butter knife and piece of paper and popped of the cover. Undid the screws, no problem. Didnt even bleed. Took out both a/c jobbers. Popped off the surround radio thingy....
And lo and behold...I didnt have a socket to match the screws. Had to button everything back up. Just did it all in reverse and everything went back okay.

Now I have to go to Home Depot and get a socket set that has a 7mm socket set with a small enough ratchet with a turn so I can get at those stupid screws. It may take me some time and money, but I'm gonna get that sucker on.

todd- no need for a tiny ratchet. Use an allen wrench and put the socket on the end of it like this (I just don't remember what size allen it is)
