SCORP..06/20/09

I couldn't make it to BVOR due to working in Huntsville this morning. But, I got out earlier than expected and decided to stop in at Spring Creek..even though I knew most of my fellow Jeepers wouldn't be there.

Well Paul was there...and good thing too.

About an hour into driving around...I got a lil bored and decided to try more of the comp area. Well, I had to call Paul shortly afterwards.

I drove to the obstacle, took a look and thought..sure just take it slow. I was wanting to go up and to the right and then back to the left to drive out of the top. Well, I drove up and then though I better stop as I wasn't able to turn to the right without sliding down. I could back down easily but didn't want to..so I called Paul.

Paul shows up...what does he say...well "your a braver man than me." Ah shit, thats not what I wanted to here and back down I went.

Well after leaving the comp area, I told Paul thanks and I was then gonna hand out in the bunny trails. Well, about 30 mins later...Yep, I had to call Paul again.

Yep, I got bored and thought lets go look at the notch...Thought about it, sized it up and thought... Sure just go slow.

Well the slippage began...here was the only photo taken as i waited for Paul to come winch me out...

This was left on the Jeep during the lil notch area...but not for long


Here's what the peg did to the body


and heres the other...there was a cheap Auto Zone mirror that I meant to remove before and take back to the store (o'well)...




And I now have my check engine light back on too....GRRR

Joe is to no longer go off road without RESPONSIBLE ADULT SUPERVISION! He just can't be trusted.



But hey, I allowed Paul and I to be able to partake in the Recovery Course 101 on the same day as the rest of my friends who did elsewhere.


BTW, G ya think that foot peg could be fixed? Promise to take it off next time before doing something I probably shouldn't.

Yeah Joe- you sent me those pictures yesterday, and I was thinking "I don't recognize that at BVORR". I mean, you sent them and talked about "recovery"- plus it was on my cell phone so the pictures were tiny.

Now I see you were just out trying to shake off pre-wedding jitters by trashing your junk

Don't worry- after the wedding you'll become "responsible" again.
