Roll Call Orange Jeeps

I didn't see any place that had the Sunburst Orange or any kind of orange so I thought I'll just start one. Mine is still pretty much stock but the before and after pictures are sure great this way. The skinny tires are just hard to look at especially since I am used to 12.5's but it's just time and money. If I had more money it would take less time. Roll Call Orange Jeeps Icon_cool

Build Plan: Completed - RC 1.25 BL, Rear bumper relocated,Evo C2 Gussets, Blacked out Wrangler and door locks, mesh grill, GPS,Mastercraft OS handles, Midwidth riveted stock bumper until I build one

UPDATE!!!!!Done- 4"suspension lift, 35x12.5x15 BFG KM2, Procomp 8179 8x15 wheels
Next - Aussie Lockers Front , Superchips Flashpac, Woods SS/Evap relocate, Superwinch EPi9.0,Gears 5.13, Tom Woods 1310 driveshafts,Custom bumpers, sliders, windshield roll bars, stinger ...blah,blah... never done.

Roll Call Orange Jeeps 100_0512

I painted under my tailgate and fixed the bumper gap from the body lift. With the black and proper bumper gap the body lift is great space for the bigger tires with no downside for me. I like to keep my COG low as possible with good clearance.

WOW..didn't realize there was a new color other than the intens blue. Very cool!!!

The Sunburst Orange Pearl was new in 2009 and will be discontinued for 2010. A one year run may make them low in numbers. I like it. I have tried to tell my wife it would look great with tiger stripes and a little white along the bottom like a real tiger but she hasn't bought into that idea.

Oh no! I have lived again!

This is my second JK!! I did a little sleepy head nod and --30 yards of guardrail and upside down with my head touching the pavement. A guy cut my seatbelt loose for me since I was still upside down and stuck. I walked away with scratches on my hands and head.

Hey - I recognize your bumper...I followed your build on "the other site" when you made it - I remember it as I've never seen a diamond plate bumper like yours. SCARY crash pic...and yea, that rollcage is garbage - looks like it just totally buckled! Well, glad you're OK and welcome to the site. Your new rig looks pretty sweet - I haven't seen many orange ones around at all. It's gonna look sweet when you do your blackouts!!!!

Well, they are not true "roll cages", even Jeep doesn't even call it a roll cage due to liabilities, they call them "sport cages" IIRC. No, They are not designed for high speed roll-overs, they are designed for a one use, slow roll over. So, if you are depending on them to save your life....DON'T.

i have a small issue with the roll cage. that is crappy - why not build it to actually work?
