I need a bumper/tire carrier for a cj5 that will support at least 37" tire i cant locate one it seems yj tj jk and all the other j' s get the call dont get me wrong ima get me a 4 door jk rubi but im looking to get my cj done up right too thank yall for your input bumper/tire carrier 65255

Go to JeepForum.com and send a PM to Eddie (user name BESRK) who is Ground Pounder Fabrication. He does great work on what is really an overbuilt tank of a bumper. He drives a CJ5 and mostly centers around CJ's, YJ's, and TJ's for his fab work. I love the bumper/carrier he did up for me, and it's held up to the rocks. There are a lot of nice little touches on it that comes from working out the kinks. You can see his thread and follow the evolution of it here.

small world, I copied that in 04, made my own for my then
TJ, last month month I cut of the TJ mounts and fabed it up to my CJ. if you can weld, it's super easy and simple.

that's a 35 14.50, holds it just fine.
