We just need to plan another trip somewhere at the same time.....you will get REAL WORLD experience with trail fixes.

on my last trip out of town for work i was sitting next to a guy from colorado ready this issue. i asked you have a jeep? next thing we know we have talked the entire time from houston to DC. realy nice guy, even gave me the magazine. wow jeepers are nice.

We did the recovery class, which was a big hit....

Was reading an article in JP magazine about trail fixes.....

What about a class for the most common trail failures....
Axles - which include a few non-standard tools to get to...
Resetting a blown bead....
resetting a spring...
pinion bearing assembly failure ( Twisted Evil

)
Brakes
UJoints
Tie Rods
even plugging a tire that has been punctured
etc....

Include techniques for getting a sick rig off the trail and back to civilization when a trail fix isn't possible.

I know just the right person to teach the class too.... and he might let us do it at his house... as long as it doesn't start too early.
