New color: "Surf Blue Pearl Coat"- looks wimpy as shit to me

Also note that "X" is now going to be "Sport". And the BFG MT's (AKA: Rubi Tires) will be available as an option on the Sport

These pictures are still X, as these are late '09 model... 2010 the X sticker is being replaced with "Sport"

That's misleading as hell.

Someone needs to send a translator over to Fiat.

Oh well. I think the new blue looks very...surfer. It'll probably grow on you. And if not, maybe they'll ditch it.

I think when they started adding heated seats and 4 doors and such, they opened the market to soccer moms. Therefore they have to remember to make them "pretty" and give lots of pretty color choices. When they walk on the lot, they don't ask for one with a D44 front and back with 4.10's, they instead ask, "Do you have a blue one?"

I heard rumors that the Jeep Green was getting ditched in 2010 models. Haven't seen any confirmation of that.

When I was looking for my rubi back in '04 I had issues with the dealer. He didn't have any rubis on the lot and insisted we test drive a columbia edition he had on the lot. Whatever...After the test drive he asked what it would take to get me "into this one". I told him to turn it into a rubi. His reply was "this one has the two tone cloth seats and dash". At that time I just walked away.

surf blue was also a very popular color for the caliber. i only see them on the southside for some reason...

So, they changed 'Sport' into 'X', and are now changing 'X' back into 'Sport'.

I still don't see how either X or Sport indicate "Base Model."

I wonder how things will pan out with Fiat....... I guess things couldnt really get worse. Jeep did produce a 2wd 4 door . Maybe they will introduce forced induction!!!!!!!! That is something that Fiat loves .

i will be buying a 2010 soft top when they start hitting craigslist... MUCH easier to fold - no tabs to tuck into the door surrounds...

I really don't think a supercharger would be the end of the world. I wish they'd just go V8 again in the Wrangler. They could totally do it.

that has been the biggest complaint forever. even the 4.7L has about 100 more HP and lb/ft of torque than the 3.8L.

4.7 won't fit, but the 5.7 will. go figure...

Well then make the 5.7 an option. I mean, especially on the new 4-door JK's, with their staggering weight (especially with lifts, tires, armor, hard tops, winches, etc), they could really use the power.

judging by the difference in a charger, a v6 SE to an RT is about $7000. take out about $2000 for things other thatn the engine and tranny and i see it being a $5000 option at the most.

i would buy one in a heatbeat!

I imagine the surfer blue might look good fully built, couple of surfboards or kayaks on a rack, etc.

That blue wouldnt look so bad with a couple dents, some rock rash, and custom branch pin striping......It would also have to be driven by a girl though too.

is pink one of their new colors for 2010? I saw a brand new paper plate 2010 pink JK in Tomball the day before yesterday!
