SA HammerFest Reststop Duty September 19th

Just want to say a big THANK YOU to all the guys that helped out, there was a lot of work to and I couldn't have pulled his off without each and everyone of you.

I hope everyone had fun, it is for a good cause,the La Verna Historical Society bought the land for the Veteran's Memorial last year with money raised and hopefully now they will be able to finish it. I forgot to tell you guys the site for the Veterans Memorial is located on 87 and Chihuahua St.

Here are the directions, we need to be there by 8am.





Take IH10 East


Exit Trainer Hale Rd (Exit # 593)


Turn right on Trainer Hale (FM 2538)


Rest Stop is about 9 miles down on the right before you get
to FM 775 (You will see us there)

Who is all going to convoy?

Can someone please remind me of the time we're expected to be there and when we think it might wrap up?

How did the dry run go? Sorry I could not participate. Do you know anything that we still need? I got a whale of a deal on some fresh gulf shrimp! I will also have beef (for shellfish noneaters) and veggies. We are looking forward to going. R

For you guys that are donating tables and ice chests and stuff if you need us to pick them up and take them to HammerFest in our trailer or truck just let me know we could get them this weekend after our "dry" run to New Berlin.

Great, we need all of the above. I was going to see if Adam could bring his trailer, not sure if that would help you out, we are bringing our trailer too and Bobby's truck + Jeep

Hey I might be able to make this (final) and able to bring out a couple friends just trying to get the calender all worked out

20 no problem, I got it, you might want to bring munchies (chips etc.). Sounds like my wife won't make it, she is going to be recovering at home. My oldest is working another rest stop, so Me and Grant will be there for your viewing entertainment!
