If that is correct, then what about comp cut w/rear axle pushed back several inches...thus making the rear tire stick out about even with the rear frame/bumper?

Still fine...

Here is my CJ/YJ that was comp cut with the axle pushed back 10". I didn't have a problem getting it inspected.

Thank goodness you live in Texas though, other states have laws regarding tire coverage, where this would fall into.

My old K5 Blazer was not exactly comp cut, but I was clearing 44" Boggers with 4" of lift.....so you can imagine that a pretty fair amount of fenders were gone. In the 3 years I had it I never had issue because of it. I didn't drive it much on the street though as the hydraulic steering made with tractor parts left much to be desired.

I doubt you would have an issue.

I'm going to stay at a Holiday Inn Express, save some money with Geico, then have Rock rash 4x4 move my axle back about an inch and a half.

Bringing this back up, since a certain pirate is interested in my current lift....

4 14" ST's to 77006 please...lead time also (if any)
4 14's in an ST will run you $2400 to your door. There is a 12 week lead time through me, but I only take 10% down at order and the balance before shipment
Kelly
F!!!!
