| Sorry to be a post whore recently.... Just found some 2010 rubicon rock rails on craigslist for $140 (brand new, the guy works at a dealership and took them off to put running boards on). I know they are listed on quadratec for 319.99...Right now I have the factory Sahara running boards. Would this be a good upgrade? Or should I save my money and buy some nicer ones later? | |

| Yeah that's what I figured. He said he would take any reasonable offer. The thing is it's a long drive from College Station to Alvin (south of Houston) where he is. What would you offer? | |

| Thanks! That would be great! Not sure when I could make it to Houston to pick them up...pretty tight with work as well but I'm sure I could figure something out. How much should I offer the guy? I'm honestly thinking about telling him Ill give him $100 becuase of the drive and see what he says? He definitely didn't seem like he was set on the 140, or that he even cared how much so long as he made some money... | |

| Get ready for some good hazing...assuming they still allow that in the Navy. You'll get a nice unflattering knick-name like fuzz nuts or something. | |

| If you plan on going to bigger tires in the future I would have George trim a little off the back of the rails before he puts the tubing on them. I have 35" tires on and when they stuff, they rub against the end knob of the rail. I had to trim the pinch seam as well as the ends of the rails. I wish I would of trimmed them first I was kind of difficult to trim and not cut into the welds. I really enjoy the mine. I used them this weekend. I had to pivot around a tree. They work great for that. I still have my stock arms in the rear, so I guess if I went to adj arms I wouldn't have to had to trim the ends off. | |
