My TJ build

Well, I skipped the Houston area install party yesterday so I could get some work done on the TJ.

I will use this thread to chronicle the complete build.

Parts already accumulated:
Ford HP Dana 44 front with 1/2" thick axle tubes, with 5.38's, chromoly axle shafts, CTM U-joints, and Detroit locker. new Warn hubs. I paid $800 for it
Ford 9" center section with 5.43's, and aluminum full spool, still need a 9" rear axle.
T&T customs rear stretch corners.

The plan is to run 39" tires on about a 4" lift, and a 8-10" stretch for a 101-103" wheel base. I will stretch the rear 5" with a custom 4 link, and stretch the front 3-5" with a custom 3 link. I would like to run coil overs or ORI struts, but they are not in the budget quite yet. So i will probably run 4" lift springs for now and relocate the upper spring buckets to get the stretch.

Very nice. I'm glad to see other TJ's on here being built. I get tired of all those dang JK threads!!!

looks good jeff. You need to square up those headlights.. they are too round..
