249 Drivetrain is running a steal of a deal for 4.88s installed for $650 for this month.

http://houston.craigslist.org/pts/1637219552.html

I'm thinking about trying to catch this sale but I wasn't sure if 4.88s or 5.13s would be better for 35s (got my eye on 315/75R16 KM2s). Opinions?

Steve (N2Rock) used them

being that you have an auto, you should go with 5.13 (at least thats what most say)..4.88 for man trans

okay, I'll drop them a line and hopefully if I sound pathetic enough they'll let me have the 5.13 for the same price.

well, I brought it up with the wife and she didn't quite know all of the plans I had for the JK before TSJM. She started asking questions and let's just say long story short, I won't be needing the gears since I won't be running 35s. Looks like I'm in the market for 32s or 33s.

i charge 250 per axle labor..........i give you the opportunity to get the best deal you can on whatever gears /install kits you wish......

alan uses yukon gears and never uses install kits........i kind of like new ring gear bolts, crush sleves, and pinion nuts in the rearends i setup

edit..........northridge 4x4 sells both gear sets and install kits as a package for 499 with free shipping........
