| Stage II $500 bucks seems too good to be true, anyone have exerience with these units? Drill, tapped, etc, but I don't see where any hard parts are upgraded with stronger shafts, parts, etc. http://westtexasoffroad.homestead.com/hydrosteering.html My gearbox is leaking above the pitman arm, figured the 37s are causing flex thus leaking past worn o-rings. I'm considering the ORE sector shaft brace as well and hoping the notorious JK gearbox flexing with oversized tires will prevent wear and tear on the o-rings. Would rather just rebuild the gearbox and use this brace for now. | |

| They are very well respected in the 4x4 community. You can't go wrong with them. Do a search for them on pirate and you will see. | |

| The ram working with the steering should take lots of the stress off of the steering box. Most of the stress should be transmitted to the anchor of the cylinder... if I fully understand what this kit does. I have never worked on this particular system, but some forklifts use a hyd. assist system that is the same premise. | |

| It's recommended that you upgrade to HD tie rods and make sure your track bar bracket is in good shape. | |

RB Lnufnu Appreciate it Russ, think my pump is ok, just a slow leak on the gearbox, might take you up on that offer, still sorting through my options. What did you upgrade to that this is a spare on yours?

| Anyone going to Easter Jeep Safari? We need some poor soul to bring us back $100 off coupons for the Redneck Ram. I hear that West Texas Off Road is giving them away at EJS. | |

| I had a weird time with my power steering acting like it was going out, and ran across a guy who had done a hemi conversion and upgraded a brand new rubi so this thing is basically brand new, well my steering is fine for now, so its just laying around the garage with the other zillion spare parts i have....

| I can take those parts of your hands...
Will this make it where I can steer in the rocks, and actually push myself off a rock using the tire, now?

RB * Russell, well just lest me know how much you want for the gearbox and pump, if I can swing both I'll try. * Jody, let me know when you're available so I can pick up that rear driveshaft.

| Screw driving to the galleria...I realize Geo is farther away, but I need to run a couple ideas by him anyway on my heep of iron. I'm hoping we'll be free this weekend and maybe I can make a run up to ya'lls Area 51 garage. | |

| BTW, heard back from the owner again and they actually sell the rebuild kits for $50 for those who just want better bearings and new seals and aren't afraid to rebuild their own. That's just to rebuild your OEM unit, no drill/tapping/hyd-assist setup. | |
