| Just wondering what everyone used to "treat?" the mat black plastic fenders and removable hard top items. Been a really long time since I have owned anything shiny and nice. Wax for the paint, but whats for the other "stuff"?? To keep the black - black, not sun bleached black. Thanks.... | |

| Still trying to find something that is "perfect"
Turtle Wax Ice works pretty damn good.
Geo "RedneckHouston" had some solvent (can't remember what it was) that made them look brand new except I think it actually took a layer off...

| Fenders what are those ? And a ?top? Ok I don't know if my jeep came with that option
However on my stock rear bumper I use a stiff tire brush and soapy water to start and then follow up with magic black tire foam sprayed of to an applicator let set for a few then wipe off the excess

| on the fenders and bumpers use tuff stuff , in a red and yellow spray can with a scotch-brite pad.........they will look new everytime........spray it on heavy, let it set for 30 seconds or so and then scrub with the scotch-brite, lightly in circles.....hose off and dry...... the top is painted , flat black and can be waxed just like the body........ if you own a jeep buy stock in turtle wax and then get lots of thier "ice" wax.........no residue enough tech...............isn't this the everything else forum??? | |
