What kinda exhaust are you running and how do you like it? Has anybody just bought a muffler and replaced it, seems like the cheaper way to go?

Just throw a $40 dynomax on there and call it good.

I think the general rule of thumb is that an exhaust system on the JK isn't going to make any difference in performance, just the sound so I guess you should just go with whatever sounds good and is affordable.

But I will say that if I had the excess money (and completed a laundry list of mods first) I would look into the MBRP muffler relocation system. They're pretty much the only ones who will post a dyno graph and RIPP uses their systems as part of their supercharger kits.

I have the flowmaster muffler on my TJ. Love the sound, not real loud but has a nice sound to it. I dont think it added alot of horsepower, but it does sound better than stock.

Only problem with a turndown is it kicks up clouds of dust on the trail.
