Ok so I got tired of the the jeep feeling like it was choking and gasping for air... and got to thinking about how I can get more air flow through the stock air box. Well its a very simple solution, in between the fender and the airbox is a small snorkel looking thing that sits almost flush with the hood, preventing hardley any air to get into the airbox. Remove it!!!!!!! I have been running with it off for the last couple of days and I have noticed a bit of difference in horse power and gas mileage.

Seeing as how this mod takes like 30 seconds, I figured what the heck and pulled mine off too. I don't really expect to see any changes but it can't hurt to try.

just be careful when it rains, the belt slings a lot of water directly into that area

Pull the inner fender lining and turn that piece facing down. Not only will mair be able to bleed out of the engine compartment but it will also breath alot easier and cooler air. Ad a simple K7N and your good to go.
