ok, so i got a trade going with my uncle. he wants me to put about $700 on his credit card for one of my rifles. trouble is, now i dont know what to get. here's what i've thought about so far:

option 1

TeraFlex sliders $394.00
Riddler Fr/Rr covers $220.00
Lube Lockers $ 34.00

option 2

Rock Hard Gas tank skidplate $350.00
riddler Diff covers Fr/Rr $220.00
lube lockers $ 34.00
Rock hard Evap skid $ 99.00

Option 3

Riddler Diff covers $220.00
Xenon Flat Fenders $520.00
(and pay the $40.00 diff)

i cant decide. maybe theres something out there i havent thought of.

I would vote for sliders, that's what I want next just because I don't want any body damage, however by the looks of your recent damage that gas skid plate would be a good idea too. I don't know how many jeepers upgrade their diff covers, but I bet some of the guys know.

But....remember our next outings don't have many rocks, so if you wanted the fenders now you would have some more time to save for the body armor!.

July - Coast
Aug - Shiloh (red dirt & mud)

Sliders and skids for sure, you'll need the sliders for Shiloh, I used mine many times to get around trees and skids are always a good idea. Stock diff covers are good for now for you

I would go for option #2, but change the diff covers for the sliders.
You're better of spending a little extra of your own money.

sliders for you for sure. the evap canister protector is pretty rugged too (i have one on mine) and a good purchase. Diff covers are a good buy too, just ask Duke. Why Riddler over ones like Solid? They solids are "bullet proof" and $10 bucks cheaper that the Riddlers...

thanks for all your input guys. i decided to go with teraflex sliders and gas tank skid. those are what got pretty damaged at boulder, so they made it to the top of the list.

btw, lube lockers are gaskets for the diff covers. you're supposed to be able to reuse them.

i say

sliders $394.00

fr/rear diff cover $220.00

1/5 0f jack daniels black label $35.00

2 liter of coke $1.25

co pay for doc visit (for when you drink all the jack and coke and need a docs note for a day off of work) $20.00

various fishin baits (to go fishing with you bottles of fine drink) $19.75

fine dining off of the dollar menu at taco bell (after the fishing and drinkin) $10.00

wheelin to a good fishing hole with your new parts installed, drinkin and fishin by a big camp fire, some fine greasy fast food on the way home, and a day off of work to recover....... all on your uncles card........PRICELESS.....man i am like a redneck financial advisor

lol! thats a tempting idea.

oh. and someone asked why riddler diff covers instead of solid. i like the recessed bolt holes and 3/8" thickness doesnt hurt. there are others out there. ARB is my first choice, tereflex has some too that look almost exactly like ARBs, but @ $158, i was trying to get the most bang for the buck. since i'll be buying them myself, i think i'll go with the teraflex covers
