Hey I was curious if anyone knows much about this Ebay vendor e-Auto Grilles? Im looking at some of their front bumpers, namely the TJ Wrangler ERC Rock Crawler Front Bumper, and they look very similar to the SRC Front Grille Guard Bumper by Smittybilt... I read some reviews on that JKowner website and they talked about how the welds weren't pretty but no ideas on how the would handle in a recovery situation. If i was to purchase that bumper from them i would put a nice winch on, but i would hate to see it get ripped off. haha

Here are some pics of the Smittybilt and the e-Auto Grilles

Here is the e-auto one-

here is the Smittybilt one-

Any advice, be it kind or helpful is appreciated. If y'all have some other suggestions that would be great. I'm not looking to break the bank though hahaha these both are in my price range but if I can save some money with one over the other, it will have to be because its just as good. Thanks y'all! Smile

My brother bought the e-auto grilles front/rear bumpers. They are not the best quality but you get what you pay for. He had most of the welds gone over where holes were left. Not a bad deal if you're short on cash or just a cheap-ass like him. Personally, I'd pass.

I have the smittybilt, it is a decent bumper. Mine has pushed a chevy 3500, crashed through a fence and a forest and has held up well. If you want a ton of protection from trees and deer it's good. but, it sacrifices on approach angles off road, the D ring holes are not in a good spot. And having the bumper in front of the tire is not favorable. I would trade for a stinger in a heart beat. But it depends on what you need it for

I laughed the first time I saw that on eBay. I'm not impressed with the Shittybilt stuff I've bought, and I would stay away from cheap knock-offs of cheap originals.

There are lots and lots of better options out there for quality bumpers.
