I know its been a while since I last posted an update but work on it has been slow. Got the rear brakes done except for the new brake lines to the rear wheel cylinders, dash is mostly finished but is finished enough for me to put it back in and is currently hanging up letting the paint dry. Also got the gauges masked off and painted, and got some parts of the doors painted and drying right now. Rear diff lube has been changed out and luckily all the gears are still in great shape. I was highly surprised when I popped off the rear wheels to do the brakes and found 1.25" wheel spacers. Going to wait til I do the front brakes before I see if I can do away with the wheel spacers. The rest of the holes on the dash I will clean up more and size them when I get the radio, speakers, and CB. I've already put about 18hrs into the dash to clean out the holes for the gauges, switches, and 12v sockets and still need to primer and paint the back side of the dash. Here are the pics.

Man its hot outside. Got the rear brake lines cut and fitted, got the backside of the dash painted, and got the rear inner fenders removed as well as the rear fender flares. Just need to get the wheels back on and get it lowered back down to the ground. After that its time to get the transmission out, thats going to be fun, lol. Pics to come later.

Got the transfer case and transmission pulled on Sunday and got the front calipers installed today as well as wired up the front turn signals, oil pressure switch, and got the front parking light lenses restored with a headlight restoration kit but am going to have to replace one of them. Really hope I get my Jeep hard top sold.

For those wondering how I was going to wire up my ignition to use only toggle switches, I did a quick drawing on AutoCAD to illustrate how its done. The ignition relay switch is on the B+ side of the relay and it also controls the power going to the start relay switch so that the start switch cant be powered until the ignition switch is on. I'm also going to put a hidden toggle switch tied into the B+ before the ignition switch to use it as a theft deterrent. If you want to do something like this as well and are confused, let me know and I can help you through this. The numbers and wire colors are referenced from the Painless Wiring Harness #10106.

Well I got the bottom tab on the dash bent up yesterday for a 12pack of Bud Light long necks and touched up the paint on it and then today I got everything installed on the dash but still need to wire it up. Heres the only pics I took today. This ain't a restoration job to put into car shows its just a restoration to make it reliable, lol. Thats why I didn't fully sand the dash back down before applying more bedliner.
