GenRight Elite Coilover Suspension Package!

The Elite Coilover Suspension System was introduced at the SEMA show in November of 2011 and is a result of two things:

1) Trickle down product development from our Ultra4 race buggy’s suspension.
2) Our rear mounted gas tank at the stock gas tank location prevents you from mounting a 4 link suspension.


We insist on superior off-road performance in ALL of our products and will not be sold to the public until it has passed the hands-on off-road testing. Meeting the requirements with the Elite kit was a challenge during R&D since the 4 door is a long (and vulnerable) wheelbased vehicle… through all of the R&D, we brought to market an unprecedented completely FLAT belly system that has the lower control arms tucked into the middle for protection from trail hazards. Combine that with 2.5" KING coil over shocks and you have the ultimate combination... a no compromise suspension for your JK!

This suspension package was also featured in the June 2012 issue of 4 Wheel Drive magazine because it is designed to convert your Jeep from a nice trail rig to an AWESOME rig that works great on and off road!   In addition, the suspension system is designed to provide a smooth, non-binding, movement through the entire stroke of the suspension's travel.  

The team here at GenRight has spent a lot of time figuring out the best place to mount the shocks, as well as other suspension components, in the optimal position.  The driving force was to provide the vehicle with the best articulation and dampening control, which also ensures the best and most balanced ride.  This package does replace the entire front and rear suspension of the Jeep, but replaces it with the best components and does it right for the last time!

Another hidden feature is that the control arms are NOT connected to the center transfer case skid plate!  This simple feature makes access to servicing the transmission and transfer case much easier.  As you can see from the pictures on the website, it is a "no bolt-on" suspension package.  There is some assembly/welding required to mount the parts to the frame, and also replaces the factory "light duty" brackets/mounts with new heavy duty 1/4" thick laser cut mounts!

IMPORTANT NOTES:

Once you have placed your order online, a GenRight staff member will contact you to discuss the specifics of your build to taylor the shocks and various other part options to best suit your intended use.
To install this kit it will require
1.  Cutting, bending and welding.
2.  The package will also require some minor cutting of the inner fender to accommodate your out board shocks and tires.
3.  This package requires switching to the GenRight rear mounted JK tank (GST-8202-2) AND the removal of the factory fuel tank.
4.  This package can not be used with the factory sway bar (a new rear sway bar is included in this kit).
5.  This package will require modifying the exhaust in several locations.
6.  This package is not compatible with body lifts, we do not recommend a body lift on a JK.

** This kit is designed to retain the factory steering box in the factory location.
