| well figured i'd show my heep and the build up here it is now. i'm in the process of putting flares on here's how i got it it had all kind of issues mostly of the suspension kind some hack took a cj axle and attempted to turn it into a xj axle.....it apperently worked for them but not for me and here it is now and here's my links or atleast the first set. i got in a hurry when i was setting up my front axle the first time because i had to move the jeep and cut all the links 2" too short also got rid of that piece o crap dana 35 and put a 8.8 in instead installed a detroit up front and left the stock lsd in the rear and installed 4.88's front and rear i also welded on unibody stiffeners just for giggles don't have any pics of them welded on but you get the point. i also build my own skid plate but don't have any pics of that either next i started building bumpers. don't like the rear bumper so i never took any pics of that and it's eventually gonna get replaced with a much better looking and stronger bumper anyways. i'm just out of steel at the moment. so here's the front it'll eventually get a winch in that gapping winch like mounting hole in the middle i'm in the process of building a 4.6 stroker and right now i have my engine block, crank, rods and pistons at the machine shop. hopefully will be getting those back next week. i still need to figure out what i'm gonna do with the head and decide what cam to go with. so this weekend i decided to get around to what i thought was some minor rust repair and bed line the interior until i pulled the carpet out and found this so that got put on hold till i get some new floor pans but right now i'm a bit poor since i just bought my custom pistons and paid my machine shop so hopefully in a week or 2 i'll be able to hit a junkyard and get me some new pans oh i also was unfortunate enough to crack both heads in my truck in april and had to drive the jeep for a couple days and i must say the steering was jacked and almost wrecked me a few times old steering new steering i have just the slightest hint of bumpsteer if i hit a really large bump doing 75 mph. my trackbar angle is 1/2 a degree off of my draglink so that's what's causing my bumpsteer. i need to build a support for my tierod still so it doesn't flop around because of the bends i had to put on the ends to clear my diff cover and coil buckets. well that's where i'm at so far. more to come in the future i guess | |

| future mods...
a stereo since it doesn't have 1 and i have all kinds of left over stereo stuff in my closet from past stereo builds. gonna build a few fiberglass enclosures for subs and an overhead pod for rear speakers instead of putting them in the back hatch.
aluminum roof rack...have to buy a spool gun for my welder first
rear bumper with swing out tire carrier for my spare
aluminum cooler and rod holder to fit in either the front or rear hitch
abunch of lights front and rear
dual battery setup
new paint
strip and paint the undercarriage and probable bed liner it....need to buy or rent a soda blaster and possibly a vehicle rotisserie or just build my own since my next projects gonna either be a 67 chevelle or a 60's camaro
onboard air system
anything else i can think or.....

| ok so ya'll wanted some pics so i had to do some rust repair those were just the worst spots.....and yes that is my muffler you see in the 3rd pic. now it looks like this finished my axles and they ended up like this hmm guess i never got a finished pic of the rear axle....oh well it's not there anymore anyways. so a couple weeks ago big4x4ride sold me a ford 44 for cheap and bigevil offered me a 14b ff for even cheaper and well i was having engine troubles so i decided to sell my axles so i could do my engine right and quit half assing it so here's my new stuff pure beef and some almost beef these make me happy in the pants..... also picked up some stock dodge 1 ton aluminium wheels from jeepking for a reasonable price i hate cleaning shiny stuff so they're gonna get painted black as soon as i can i completely bedlined the interior to quiet down my noisy ass tires until i can get some km2's well tha brings us up to date i guess. next weekend i'm gonna start cutting crap off my axles and start setting everything back up...again | |

| ok so i'm finally getting back to work on this piece so pics as it stands now my old skid plate/ link brackets that made life alot harder then it needed to be. anytime i needed to get to the tranny or tcase i had to drop the entire front suspension so now the suspension is seperate from the new skid plate....still to be designed my new brackets...i must say having your own press brake makes life alot easier had to sleeve the unibody so it doesn't get crushed tomorrow i need to figure out how to get around this issue sorry about the crappy cell pics my camera's dead | |

| after thinking about it a little i think i'm going to leave it as a 3 link instead of 4 linking the front like i originally was planning on. should cause fewer issues and no binding. so tomorrow it's time to stick the front axle back under it and start cutting links.
maybe i'll also get my new seats swapped in as well | |

| well the 44's finally under the front although it's just temporary since i need to blast and paint it. i need to get the motor back in it so i can check clearances with the oil pan and measure for my bump stops and figure something out for the track bar. i may end up building a new frame side bracket for it but that won't be decided for a little bit yet proof | |

| so i got off my dead ass and got back to work. after a little bit of cutting and fitting i ended up with this little better view and after alot of grinding i ended up with this it's not perfect but i'm not really a body man and the lines are close enough that after primer and paint you won't be able to tell the difference | |

| decided to build a cowl induction hood today but i ran outta gas after my regulator blew so until i get a new regulator and a refill i'll finish it up so a couple months ago i tried some of the paint remover in a can....didn't work very well and this is what it did for me so after an hour with my da sander here's the shape i decided to go with little grinder lovin and this is what i ended up with. i decided to leave the area where the hood seals up against the cowl intact for structural reasons and to keep that nice rolled edge. so i'll need to go cut up a junkyard hood to lengthen the cowl to the correct proportions. managed to get it all tacked together with the new sides just before the regulator blew. couple other views i still need to shape the front of the hood and add some supports for the middle and to get the stock shape back in the cowl area. most people for some reason cut up the frame which really weakens the hood so here's proof it can be done without cutting the frame will add more when i get it done | |
