Today's 101 day

Man what a great time today! Joe- Sorry you couldn't make it

It was awesome wheeling with my old friends, and meeting new ones- looks like we have some fun new folks in the Houston Crew


Well, Shannon's inaugural run. And she did great, and loved every minute of it. And she discovered that she LOVES MUD! A mud monster is born!

Her Jeep was spotless when we left the house today. Here's what it looked like by noon







Me and george are convinced that the pink light covers have some sort of anti-mud coating. Jennie's pink covers look the same way even with the rest of the Jeep totally covered in mud


George tackled his favorite crevas again... He had his doors on to begin with, but soon realized he wasn't going to make it without damaging them, so off came the doors. My daughter just happened to be at the top with her picture camera in "video" mode, so she caught him making the climb




Meanwhle... Jeff was eyeing a hill that George was unable to conquer. And decided to make a go at it... Uh... He gave it one hell of a try, but the hill won









Jennie decided to lead the mud slut brigade on a run thru the long mud hole. Of course the other 2 mud sluts were smart enough to let Jennie go first







She gave it one hell of an effort, but ultimately had to be strapped out.


Mud Dog 08 had a run in with the same step that damn near put me on my side a few months ago- just something about that step and 4 doors. He had to be strapped up it (which is one hell of a lot smarter than attempting the line I took 2 months ago LOL)





And JeepGirl comes along behind him to show him just how simple it is with a 2 door



I guess that right there answers the question of which of them gets the lift and tires first Obviously his JK needs it more than hers!!! (yes, I'm still siding with the 4dr )

Awww damn! Be sitting around waiting for someone to report back. BTW, I'm still working (no surprise). I'm not a very happy Jeeper now, very jealous is more like it! But, I'm glad all had a good time. If there is a next time like this w/me, that sickness IS going to happen and its just not going to allow me to work, NO MATTER WHAT.

Curious, the climb where Jeff is on his side...George or Jody or Jen, is that not the same one we made it up last time I was out? If so, guess it got worse?

I had so much fun!!!! Was great meeting everyone I hadn't yet and always great seeing everyone else again!!!

Jennie--- thanks for going through that big mud hole first!!!!!! Wish it wasn't so bad!!! I was really wanting to go through it!!!!

George and Jeff--- Y'all scare the crap out of me!!!!!! LOL

JeepGirl--- You did great on the trails and it was fun watching your daughters have so much fun in the mud puddles!!!!!!!

Rescue1 - I hoppe you had fun. Our goal was to break you in. Did we do that?

Next time we will spend more time showing you the ropes ..... our take on it is to get you out there and get you comfortable with your Jeep .... I hope it worked ..... you did great out there!! I'll post pic's of ya a little later!

i had a blast!! got a better idea of tools and gear i need for next time (sweat towel) and i realized the true benefits of a stubby bumper and qick disco's. trying to reconnect when everything is muddy. they are on my short list.

Taking the finders off would have helped, but the only way to help that roll over thing is an exo skelleton. Man it happend quick too, like ok and then one second latter bam, over it went. Nice vedio. Looks like yall had fun.
