Family ok...no power, no water......house in Crosby took hit from wind/tornado....all trees down...shed destroyed....feed store destroyed....power lines down all over....

Have not heard from Jeff....

Has anyone heard anything about Bolivar or Crystal Beach? Need to find out if Mom & Dads house is still there....but I think its bad...house probably gone....

Any info would help.

They haven't shown video from Bolivar yet, but the news is saying crystal beach is a bad scene.

A few minutes ago a picture of Crystal Beach was the lead photo on CNN.com. In the photo there were 3 homes still standing and at least 5 or 6 sets of stilts with no homes on them. The weird thing was there did not apear to be any debris or trash any where in the photo.

Yeah, they showed Bolivar this morning on either CNN or KHOU, and half the homes seemed to be gone with major flooding still in the streets. I hope your place is ok Todd.

it looks as if bolivar got the worst of it............they have been clearing the roads as the water goes down looks like there's 50% of the homes gone and 50% standing.

I still have not gotten in touch with TxRubiRig Joe but got in touch with Brandi's mom and she said that Joe and Brani are ok.

I've called Jeff's cell phone and it goes stright to voice mail.......I have left a message.......but as we all know cell phones are not working so well.........it takes 20 trys before you can get it to ring

I have also tried to contact Rescue1 and also on get voice mail!

Brandi Just called me they are ok

All is well, ok. No power but at Brandi's father's house in Bellaire (has everything working).

My cell phone is the only that I've think we've lost. It will no longer turn on...o'well.

are you talking about Joe Martinez?

if so they live north of waco and should not have gotten any of the storm.

I imagine Jeff might be at the refinery working a turn around after the storm. Just a wishful thought that might explain not hearing from him.

Hope everyone is doing well, I live between Austin and Waco. We got some wind and a little rain up here; not even enough rain to close the cracks in the ground. It past to the east of me.

Hey guys, I'm here. lap top crashed pretty early. Have the generator running now, air card going, but it is hit and miss.

House took a tree to the roof, took out the eave, but doesn't look like it like its it leaking at this time. Will get pictures asap. Crosby took a pretty good hit, especially newport, too many trees. Powerlines are down, trees wrapped in powerlines, power poles landed on houses etc, i heard we will be without power for 2-3 weeks over here, but we will see.

Forgot to add, we rescued a mama squirrel with 3 new born squirrels.

Found a 2 baby squirrels without a mama that were a few weeks old we are having to bottle feed. like I said, will get pictures of everything soon.

oh wow I knew Newport would get it bad....My friend Robbie lives in Newport, on the back side closer to the lake......I haven't been able to reach him so I hope they are ok!

well my bro in spring finaly checked in and they are good and got power around noon hes at 1960 nad the toll road
once again he is in flood restoration if any one needs a hook up pm me

We are on the back side also on the golf course. If you can give me an address, I could run by there for you.

and it's good to hear y'all are ok!

ok, i'm here. just got power last night. stayed at a friends house in spring saturday night. they did't have internet but had power. our house settled alittle and we lost a few shingles but no leaks.... that i know of. my cell was useless, i got a few text messages in and out but not many. still getting voicemails today from just after the storm. family is doing fine, just very very tired. very tired!! wow, how i underestimated Ike. that will NOT happen again. thanks to all that checked in on us.

Finally able to check in. Family okay. No damage to house. Still no power. I work 1/2 mile from home & we have power at work but not at home. :duh:
