| The only "true" AR 15 is the Colt. They designed it and have the patent. There are many manufacturers out there making them. I say you get what you pay for. Go with a quality manufacturer and don't shop for price.
I think they are a PITA. I used them for 20 years in the military. M16A1, A2 and M4 (shorter with collapsible stock). They are a pain to clean and clog up if you shoot a lot(probably shoot more in military than average). They are very accurate however and you can be pretty accurate up to 300-400 yards without a scope. | |
