Steve and I are flying to Las Angeles today for the week. I finally get a break from kids, housework and all parental responsibilities. Very Happy

My Aunt used to be head of the drama department at Cal-State Fulllerton. Went out there several times to visit her. She lived so close to Disneyland you could see the fireworks every night. This was awhile back tho, when Gene Autry used to own the Angels...... Smile

Lets just say that California is a "unique" place and leave it at that....... Very Happy

Doubtful that we'll make it to Beverly Hills. We're staying in Century City. Gonna go riding Harleys up PCH today. The guy planning the ride says it will be 170 mile round trip (that's a long ride). Wednesday thru Friday is all business Sad

The ride was a BLAST!!! Shannon took about 400 pictures! She was snapping them left and right. She even took some video of us riding on a twistie road thru a canyon. Very cool. She wasn't taking video or pictures though when I was scraping the floorboards LOL No, she was holding on for life on that road Laughing

I'm so glad the Harley shop told me up front that they don't charge for scraping the floorboards, because I had sparks flying! LOL

It was a great ride. The crappy part was just getting back into the city. Cutting those canyon roads doesn't scare me one bit, but LA traffic on a bike scares the shit out of me!
