| So, I decided to try to play Guitar Hero on the Wii I got the kids for Christmas. :punk: After a lesson from my 5 and 8 year old's on how to use the controls I was off and running. I got a few songs done and then couldn't get through one. Of course I was on "easy" mode or level or whatever you call it. My 8 year old picks up the "guitar" and zips through it like nothing. :youtheman: It's a pretty cool game but I don't think I will be playing in concert any time soon | |

| Love the game! I burned thru the first Wii version on easy in a day. Moved on to medium and played it over and over and over. Then they came out with the Aerosmith edition. Didn't bother with easy, just went thru it on medium. Then picked up Guitar Hero World Tour for Xmas. Been playing it on medium for months- World Tour has so many songs.
Me and Shannon both play on medium. My boys play on hard and expert. I watch my oldest play it on expert and am blown away by the complexity of it.

Yeah, we all play guitar (except my youngest son). And there is no comparison between the two. Makes me wonder how many people that got good at Guitar Hero thought that meant they could play real guitar, and then went out and blew a bunch of money on a real guitar only to be very disappointed.

| i used to play guitar stopped and i sold it. beautiful jackson charvelle that i picked up from a pawn shop for $250. should never have let that go... tfast forward to last year.. i bought guitar hero and felt "dirty" because many of the songs i could play on a real guitar. i then went and spent $600 on a guitar and an amp that can light up the neighborhood! last time i played i was a broke student and now i had money for cool stuff :punk: | |

| haha thats so funny that you brought up this game.....I got it for my Daughter for her birthday last week....I watched her play a bit.......mind you I had tried the game once before at N2's house. So after watching my 10 year old daughter play it on Hard I thought how hard could easy be.......yeah I'd get half way through the game and get booed off the stage....over and over again. I was kinda up set about the whole thing sooooooooo I broke out my old Nintendo yes the first one, and guess what it still works!!! I popped in Mario the first one! plugged in the two controllers and challenged the lil one.........hahahaha these kids now days can play the heck out of play station, xbox and wii but you stick an old school Nintendo controllers in their hands ......and they don't know what to do!
I think now I'm going to dig out the atari and see what she thinks of that old joy stick lol there maybe a Qbert challange goin on next.....

| My kids show me up all the time.
Could be fun with all adults and a few adult beverages.
I like the bowling one. There is golf, tennis and boxing too if you get tired of music.

| So I've been practicing.
Do all the songs on easy and most on medium.
Favorite is "all day and all of the night"
and "cat scratch fever"
Man, that game is addicting
