hey everyone I kinda have a stupid question and I need some help!

I decided to pull my spark plugs to see if they needed to be changed but, I'm not sure now!

Is it time to change them or do they still have some life left in them.

After 20+ years in the automotive business, I highly reccommend anybody running Champion Spark plugs to change them. They were the one plug that would cause more misfires than any other plug i know. They would arch out down the side causing a misfire. I ve seen them go bad in as little as 15000 miles on some new vehicles.

Old man once told be the best way to see if they need to be replaced:
Drop them in a bucket of Diesel, if they float they are ok for a few more miles, if they sink you replace. Works for me every time.

My old man told me the same thing except to use the oil from every 10th oil change.

I only use Champion Spark plugs. never had a problem with any of them. when I was a kid helping my dad work on airplanes they all had Champion spark plugs too. and you do not want to have engine problems in a airplane while you are flying over a rocky place. so if they are the spark plugs of choice for bush pilots they will work for me.
