| nope I actually go speafishing there off the beach. Getting gears done soon. 35's on 3.21s are anemic at best. I travel to SA quite a bit and will be heading out of Houston on a Cruise getting married in May. Fiance left me alone this weekend and came home to a stubby bumper and chopped fenders She'll learn one day! www.texasspearfishing.com for some more info on spearfishing. | |

| Thanks guys...I'm a baseball coach so I'm pretty sure March 28th-29th is taken, but I'll look again. I don't get much rest from now until June. SHeepies....now's the time to limit out at the jetties. Last year this time I was giving fish away spearing them left and right at the jetties. By far the best fish you'll eat is the atlantic spadefish cooked on the halfshell with fresh pico de gallo on top and tons of lime and corona to go with it! | |

Ceviche....now we are talking. On our spearing trips we'll take some onion, tomato, jalapeno, cilantro and some shrimp and catch from fresh fish. Pour some lime juice on it and eat it with chips.

Yep!!! My buddy introduced it to me after a spearfishing trip down to Padre. I remember thinking that it was a real pain in the azz to make but it was worth it once we got it on some chips and down the hatch!!! He is in Port A now... he has a boat and loves to spearfish!! It's been about a year since I got to let the Riffe #3 standard loose on a bog sow... need to dust it off.

I have a few friends down in Port Isabel and a few more out of Port A area. I'm trying to get my floor in my Panga this week so I can have it glassed in for this summer season of spearing.
