| I'd rather let someone else spend their money on an unproven product. My last winch lived on 5 differnt trucks over a 9 years period. I'd rather spend my money on something I KNOW will work when I'm in a Jeep eating hole. | |

| Well, I paid $269 shipped for my Smitty. I read on forums all the time that the Smitty's are junk. It has served me very well so far. I have definitely gotten my money out of it. | |

You hear a lot of that on the less expensive winches. Good and bad reviews. They work for some and not for others. Not many bad reviews about warns though. Probably depends on how and how much they are used. It would probably work fine for me since it would probably not be used that much. Hope it keeps serving you well. | |
