| Yes, I'm not Geo..but since you already have the tank permantly installed, I would go with the powertank connection. Assuming you have an adjustable regulator. | |

The fuse is lit... But no boom yet. Geo suggested looking into an Ox. But I haven't found one for the JK D44 yet.

Geo suggested looking into an Ox. But I haven't found one for the JK D44 yet. Might have to call them direct and see if they have a part# for the higher gear ratios.

| I am thinking about a Powertank for the tires, Aussie for the front and OX for the back.... and chromies and gears of course. Want to do it all at once so it might be a while so I can start gathering parts..... looking for deals etc... What about this contraption? http://www.currieenterprises.com/cestore/product.aspx?id=2953Anyone with any experience with that? | |

Anyone with any experience with that? Powertank is over priced. Build your own for under $200

Have a part list? Tank = $85 ( http://www.beveragefactory.com/draftbeer/tanks/co2.shtml) Regulator = $38 ( http://www.wheelersoffroad.com/co2systems.htm) 30ft hose = $38 ( http://www.wheelersoffroad.com/co2systems.htm) Those above are the bare minimum requirements (fyi- the hose comes equipped with an end for filling tires, so you wouldn't even have to worry about buying that). So for under $200 you can have the minimum requirements. It cost me $7 at a welding supply shop to have the tank filled (10lb tank) In my case, I added to it PowerTank HD tire inflator = $60 Heavy duty mounting bracket = $40 ( http://www.outbackequipped.com/accessories.asp#bracket) Which Geo was kind enough to modify and mount behind my rear seat. But since you have that Mopar trunk back there, you'll probably want to look at some other place to mount it.

That mopar trunk is going to get replaced with one of the Tuffy drawers. Either way I will need somewhere to put it. If I ever get my Shrock bumper and the goodies I understand that shrock will offer a tank mount for it as well. I am going to see if I can rig something that will work..... Thanks for the post!

| Got a nice surprise in the mail yesterday- a refund on my escrow account for the year. It wasn't much. But enough to make up the difference between the cost of the Ox (over the ARB). So I'm calling Ox tomorrow | |
