Advanced Adapters Rubicrawler gear box....

http://www.rubicrawler.com/

I may may have to look into this. They run about $1500... a little steep imho, but $1000 less than a 4.3 atlas 2 speed, and $1500 less than an atlas 4 speed. The stak 3 speed t-case runs about $2500.

This box will give me a 2.72, 4.0, or a 10.88 gear reduction

Gotta throw in the $245 for the shifter, and $300 for anything greater than 3:1 =)

Yeah, and either one would be better than nothing *grin*

But yeah, I keep drooling over the Atlas II. But, there's a lot to go before I get to that.

Yes, this will probably still be a ways out, I would much rather have the 4 speed atlas, but at twice the cost????????

Geo, just find a way to twin stick your stock T-case, then you can do front digs Very Happy (kinda hard to do with a chain driven T-case)

Haven't heard of these yet, had to google it. Looks promising if they will come out with lower gear sets for it

BIG difference between the Rubicrawler and the Atlas. Rubicrawler NO MODIFICATIONS TO ANYTHING OTHER THAN A CABLE TO SHIFT IT ON AND OFF. Atlas, modify both drive shafts plus two shifters in the console to be installed.

Mo money mo time, some thing most of us don't have too much of "money"
