got my rubitubes in today!!!

my poly performance tubes to add on to my rock rails came in today!!!

now to get them welded up

anyone who welds know about how much time / labor hours it would take to weld them?

pull them off and pass them over here foo

they are done... just need some adjustments and touch up to the rattlecan bedliner. pics tomorrow - maybe thursday...

but, i would recommend just buying existing tubes.

rubi rails = $100
Poly perf tube kit = $260
Welding = $75 (thank you johnnyJK!!!) ( this takes too long to weld if you are going to pay someone what this is actually worth.)
rattle can bedliner / primer = $40

so for $475 i have these rails. they do their job. they provide a nice step. they will protect against rocks to a good extent. but for $100 - $150 more i could have had numerous steps that are frame mounted and can take more of a beating.

Definitely!! They look great.

i love the way they look. we'll see how they hold up - not the welds, but being mounted to the body.

i am thinking of possibly having a bracket made to convert the rails from body mount to frame mount.
