| http://www.flickr.com/photos/38912512@N07/sets/72157618932319411/first i want to thank everyone i met for all their help; literally i wouldn’t have made it with you. ever since i have left i keep looking at things on the side of the road thinking i could drive over that. lol
damage wasn't too bad. a dent in the rear bumper, thanks to terrahawk, which i was able to push out because it ripped a hole in the plastic and i was able to get a screwdriver in behind. all 4 corners are a little scratched up, then there is the big dent in the gas skid plate. just washed her today and couldn’t find and body damage which is good and the wife is happy about that. she actually said "you can always get another one later." better start saving....
hope to be making it to the beach trip and see everyone again.

| Nice photos.
the dents in the skids don't count..... they are out of sight.
Nice work out there too.... there were more than a few spots that I said "No Freakin' Way the Sahara makes it" and with a good spot up you went.

Once you get the wife out and used to it she'll be saying things like "Turn around and smile".

| BTW- You're dad is a great spotter! He got out and spotted you over that pile of boulders- I had already CB'd to Church telling him to hold up a minute to strap you over them. Figured there was no way you would get over those. And then your dad hopped out and had you thru that area no problem. | |

everything i know about driving i learned from him. it was really nice to get to spend some quality time with him. i couldn't get him to drive though after waterfall, he said he was just too afraid he would mess something up.

| maybe we should organize a father son day of wheelin? i would definately be up for it again. after being out there my dad started talking about making a buggy from an old cj7 that his uncle has that he recently wrecked it in a concrete retention pond. not sure if it has any frame damage or not but it has a stock v8 in it. i didn't even know that they ever came with v8s? what a daydream that is. | |

| for just one second i thought i'll take it down and pound it out. then i thought it would still have a dent but it would be all wrinkly looking, so it stays as is. besides some of the bolt heads are messed up from all the draggin, not too sure if i got it off i could get it back on. | |
