| Any way we can get you to add view new posts to the Header file so we can see new post no matter where we are on the site? | |

Don't worry, most of the guy's and gal's on here are a PITA. That is why they got banned from JKF. So you'll fit right in.

| I'm going to agree with the Newbie- we need a "new posts" button right up top!
None of this going to the portal and watching the slow scroll
none of this clicking on "home" then clicking on "view posts since last visit"
Damnit- we deserve much quicker! We DESERVE a "new posts" button.
Crux- get off your ass and fix this!!!
And hey- it was the newb's idea, so don't take it out on me! :hiding:

| If you pm the header.html file I can edit it to include the "New Posts" for authenticated users. Or I can post it up here and you can add it. | |

| That happens to me when I surf using my iPhone - every time that I post a reply to one of the new posts. If I use the back button it is ok. Never happens when I use the laptop. My vote is a New Posts button. | |

| Well unfortunately this template does not have a provision for this. I'll delve deeper, but I think this is it folks. | |

| Since it is hosted for free they won't let you modify the template? It will be in the Overall_Header.html file | |

| funny that this thread popped up because what happens to me...and it's so annoying...is that as I'm working, I usually have the "new posts since last visit" posts up. BUT...if you don't read them too quickly, all the listings disappear after you read one and hit "back"...! ugh... Lot a times, I can only read one post and then am off doing something for work and come back later...that's when I lose the new postings list.
Just one of those annoying things I guess...IF a button for new posts could be added, it would be great. if not - oh well...

But this is so much easier (top right of the home page): View Posts since last visit
True, but if you log off and lose them you can get them back with the active posts. The active posts one seems to cycle in the afternoon. Can it cycle at midnight instead?
