| What is the benefit of shackle reverse or is there any my jeep has it done to it and i was just wondering what the pros and cons were :driving: | |

They are discussing Toyota's, but the info is same for leaf sprung Jeeps. It makes a night and day difference in ride and handling and can drastically increase offroadability as well. Be prepared for some driveshaft mods as well. | |

You will need a long travel front driveshaft. When the front axle hits a bump instead of swinging forward and upward it will move backwards creating a need for a driveshaft with additional travel. | |

| Ok i dont do any rock crawling. i might drive over a tree or two across the trail and maybe deep ruts will i still need long travel drive shaft up front.... i guess that would be cheaper than wreaking the T-case | |

| I dont think you have to have one but you dont ant to in four wheel drive and flex it and the slip yoke slips out, belive me its not a pretty sound when it slaps around under your rig. | |
