| AMEN A buddy of mine just got back from France where he visited the Normandy Cemetery and Point Du Hoc where the Rangers scaled the cliffs to get to the fight... he said that he spent a lot of time crying from the gravity of seeing over 9000 graves from the one battle alone.... so many stories - like the 38 sets of brothers that are buried there. He said that while he was there busloads of French school kids were coming in - I don't have much to say for the French, but kudos for teaching the kids why they don't speak German. 125,000 American Soldiers are buried overseas in 24 different cemetaries... protecting what most of us take for granted. http://media.oaktreesys.com/abmc/video/ABMCTour.wmvhttp://www.abmc.gov/home.php | |
