A buddy wants to get rid of his TJ. Here is what I know.

'99 Jeep TJ
4.0l
5spd manual
newer Bestop
hard doors
tan inside and out
5 - 30x9.5x15 BFG A/T's
AC
reciever hitch
185k miles

My buddy has never wheeled it any harder than cruising down the beach or a muddy trail at the deer lease. It runs rough until it warms up (2 minutes), but then it runs pretty good. It was his daily driver until about 10 months ago when he bought a JK. Body and interior in decent condition.

It would make a great cheep wheeler.
buy it for $3k
add $300 winch
add $200 2" budget boost
add $100 1" body lift
add $500 used set of 33" or 34" m/t's
add $400 for set of rails
remove rear bumper
trim flares and front bumper
wheel care free in air conditioned comfort for $4500.
