Media..grrr...Gates report...

For those that don't know, this man was not arrested from "breaking into his own house" as the media would like it to be. Here is the police report:

brief overview...neighbor (white female, if it matters) called the police after seeing two men (black males, if it matters) with backpacks gain entry into Gates residence via the front door..at which time, one of the males had to force the door open with his shoulder do to being jammed or whatever (fyi, later as reported in the PD report...the front door did not open/close properly due to a prior break in)....officer arrives on scene and Mr. Gates is later arrested and charged with diorderly conduct...

the media now wants the officer to say I'm sorry? WTF...when I 1st heard of this, yesterday morning as the news reported it with Obama's remarks in another one of his prime time propaganda shows...things didn't add up to me

this is what i initially heard happened, but the spin after the fact made it sound as if they arrested him for the break-in. his house was even broken into before - all the more reason to be thankful the police showed up to investigate.


remember this, police officers, if two black men appear to be breaking into a house that was previosly broken into and someone calls it in, you shouldn't bother with that call. you will be racist if you do! (much sarcasm here)

Its sad but thats normal for these days

...however, if a neighbor thought someone was breakin into my house...even if it was me...and the police were called...I'd be greatfull...esp if my house was already broken into prior...I'd have a good laugh later and a story to tell over beers, but i'd be thankful for the neighbor for watching out even though we were appearantly not socialable with each other on the street.

good point on looking out i didnt think about that seeing as how i know most of my neighbors even if it is by sight
