Stingrays dont play

Most of you that went on the beach trip know that I was stung by a Stingray. First I want to say thanks to all those who helped doctor me up. Some brought antiseptic, bandages, Crown Royal & even poured boiling hot water on me (it actually helped). If you have never been stung by a stingray, dont try it. It hurts. BAD. dont know why thay call it a sting. Those things knock the shit out of you.
Anyway, after a few days, the pain & sweling went away. By this past Friday it was pretty much gone.
Then Sunday it started hurting again, Monday it started to swell again. So, tuesday I went to the doctor. The doctor looked at it and said you better get to a Hospital. So, here I am in the hospital with a bunch of hoses sticking out of me At least they are bringing me plenty of Vicodine.

OMG, I'm sorry to hear that, I guess they have you on antibiotics? Wow what did they say caused it to flare back up?

Holy crap dude! Any ideas on what happened? Infection? Walking in that dirty mud on Saturday?

... and don't worry dude, whenever something gets ya, I'll always be there to pour boiling water on ya!

Good luck with the infection. Hopefully it's just a mild sepsis and there's not much necrosis involved, if any.

Apparently it is fairly common to flair back up like that. They were concerned that I might get Cellulitis so they have me on intravenous antiboitics. Shouldnt be any big deal. Just need to keep the antiboitics pumping thru me.

There was a hot little nurse yesterday but she didnt come back today. Guess they found out that my insurance only covered ugly ones.

I can't believe nobody offered to pee on you. I know its a myth for jellyfish, but if you were in enough pain or drunk enough it might have happened. Next time I go to the beach I am taking vinegar for sure.
