I just read on texas4x4 that it's still going on this weekend. Come'on, nobody's going? It'd be a good time and would be good way to contribute to a new park. I'm going to probably go Saturday early morning and maybe Sunday and it pretty close. So who else would be down???

Would like to help, but currently recovering from a herniated disc.
Also, I am competing a the dust ball rally that weekend.
Kind of like a cannonball race. (Funny how I can still do the fun things, but cannot do hard labor). :loco2:

""Hello all, Aug 15 will be the first weekend of trail clearing. We will open on Fri. afternoon and close on Sunday after lunch. We have the camping area cleared out and ready for you. At this we dont have running water or electricity so all the camping has to be primitive but we are working on some outhouses. The park is about 350 ac with deep canyons running through it. The trails will be in the canyons and cossing them and around the property.

The property is located off of RR 2323 on Schneider-Moellering in Gillespie co. north of Fredericksburg. About two miles the road on the north side. RR 2323 runs from Llano to Fredericksburg.

There will be 2 or 3 trail cutting weekends to follow in which we will be giving away an ECHO chainsaw. We will draw a name from all who attend the trail cuttings.
