Dammit! I've got a set coming in, and I was hoping I'd be the only one around. Oh well. We can be awesome tube fender buddies And hey...mine are coming in for free from MetalCloak, powder coated with 6" flares. You heard me. I'm probably going to have to chat you up about the turn signals. I've been looking at doing that myself...

Kind of a long story, but basically they liked some of the comments, suggestions, and criticisms I had posted in a thread of theirs on JeepForum.com, and they're sending them to me to install and review. I definitely did not expect that PM with that offer. It's definitely helpful, because we're talking about some very expensive pieces that are as close to true bolt-on as you can get with that kind of mod. Amid questions about build quality, they're also documenting the production process of the set they're building for me. Basically, because they're pretty expensive, they're trying to show that their quality of workmanship and materials and design are all superior enough (especially design) that they're actually worth the money. Honestly, I suspect they are. We'll see

| Your not kidding about about the price of the fenders. They are the most expensive upgrade that I have put on the Jeep yet. They are well worth it though. I am running 35's with no lift. I like it so much more than when I had the 4inch lift on it. It's a huge difference.
Fenders are a true bolt on. Only thing I had to modify was the bottom of my wind shield washer fluid reservoir. Took about 1min with a cut off wheel.
Might have to send a review to Metalcloak to see if I can score some flares. LOL. The lights were simple. Ordered 3inch LED on e-bay + 3inch hole saw. Took about 30 min to do.

| Sorry I have no suspension lift. I do have a 3inch body lift witch will be getting replaced with a 1inch body lift very soon. Then I am going to make the rear wells a little larger to compensate.
With a 3inch sup and 1inch body you will not have a problem with the wheels rubbing.

| I will be looking at getting the 4inch flares for these and the rear fenders also. Should look very sweet when they are on. I have not seen any jeep in Houston with these on besides mine. Which is a shame cause I think they are awesome. | |

| For reference, the fenders are on a UPS vehicle out for delivery today. I'm planning on heading over to my friend John's place tomorrow to do the install. If anyone wants to come out and hang out, help take pics, or actually help with the install, drop me a PM. I'm looking forward to getting these on... | |
