today i voluntarily joined the ranks of the unemployeed. needed to take a different direction as car sales have been down.
I am putting together my resume and will have it posted up in the next day or two. I am pretty sure i don't want to sell cars, but i may be open to sales. i may go back to best buy or work construction with my dad. thankfully my wife has a stable teaching job to give me the opportunity to find something that will make us more solid. i am back in school to finish my bachelor's in management.
if anyone knows of anything local to san antonio, let me know. my main skills are selling and closing. i also know the psychological process of making a buying decision. however i don't do cold calls very well. I also am very computer literate, but have no current programming training. the last language i programmed in was turbo pascal
. but i can learn very quickly. i am not afraid of labor either. i have a working knowledge of powerpoint and preparing persuasive presentations, and am in the process of finishing my degree in management. i also can hook up and fine tune home theater systems and make them work off of one remote control.
but my strongest attribute is learning. i can hit the ground and be up and running in no time.
also, until i find something, i probably won't be at many events as the $$ is gonna be tight for a bit.
see ya'll around
