| I have a co-worker who has an '01 TJ that has never been offroad. Long story short his daughter wrecked it. Damage to the rear corner and broke the passenger steering knuckle. I am debating trading him my '99 grand am for the jeep and turning it into a trail rig. Questions are do you think it is a good deal the car + $700 (impound fees/ been impounded for a month) for the jeep as is. Also, how hard is it to replace the steering knuckle? | |

| G said hell yeah do it! It's a good trade! And he said the knuckle is not that hard to replace. he said he is gonna look into it but you might be able to put JK knuckles on it and have high steer, he said he will let you know if ya can but he still says its a killer deal. | |

| tell him I will pay the $700 and take the Jeep off his hands ... J/K, sounds like a great deal to me, Heck, you can get a used knuckle at a bone yard for less than $75. If you don't trade him, ask him how much he wants for it.. I'm looking for a project... | |

| I agree with cjate, Have him pay at least some of the impound fees. $700 is kind of pushing it.
