| Do you own a truck? I do...now. As of this afternoon I am the proud owner of a 2007 Ford F250 Super Duty Lariat Super Crew FX4 (6.0L Powerstroke diesel)! This is actually my first full-size truck (I had a 4-door Frontier for a while). Go big or go home, I guess? Either way, I'm excited I got it mostly out of a desire to have something capable of towing the Jeep to events, allowing me to travel in more comfort, yes, but more importantly meaning that I can get home even if something breaks on the Jeep (knock on wood). Alas, I traded in my beloved Jag for it. Ah well, it was about to get expensive anyway. So, do you own a truck? If so, what is it? Are you a brand loyalist? Do you swear by the Cummins engine (I wish the Ford had it)? Post pics either way. I'll start it off with a couple of mine: | |

| I used to tow with this '06 H2. It made a great tow vehicle. It had a 6.0 V8, 3/4 ton drivetrain, air suspension, 4.56ears, etc....... As a builder, with the housing market being like it is, it made since to sell the H2. Now I mostly tow with my beat up work/ ranch truck that is an '00 F250 (V10, ext. cab, 4x4, 4.88's, Detroit rear, Powerlock front, custom bumpers, etc...). Depending on how long a trip it might by I might also take our stock '07 Z71 Tahoe. | |

| I'm surprised the H2 made for a decent tow vehicle. It never would've occurred to me to think of as an option. Does the relatively short wheelbase cause any problem? Now I want a trailer, but I don't really have a place to keep it. I'll probably end up borrowing a friend's for the October trip to Long's, to see what it's like. Now I need to get a truck tent | |

Nice truck, is it a short bed? Could not tell by the angle of the photos. I have a Sportz tent for a full size short bed I may be willing to sell if it will work for you.

It towed great, actually better than my F250 or my wifes old Excursion, especially at highway speeds. About the only downside was it liked to be weighted just a certain way and more than once I had to adjust the Jeep's placement to get everything balanced. Once I found the sweet spot, I marked the spot with a dot of paint on my trailers deck and always pulled up to that exact same spot. Also above is a shot of my daily driver/work truck F250 towing an Isuzu Trooper I got for helping a friend move some materials around. We plan to cut the roof off the back of the Trooper, camo it, weld the rear diff, trim the wheel wells, install 33's, and then destroy it at the deer lease.

Ah, thanks for the offer, but yeah it's a short bed (6.75', IIRC). That and on the way home from work yesterday I stopped off at Bass Pro and picked up a Sportz III in camo, since they've got them for sale online (and the store will honor/match it). Now I just need one of those badass Truck-Bedz air mattresses and I can go anywhere RG, man, I'm so jealous of that toy hauler. So nice! Of course, I'm guessing the Harley edition is a good thing, too, but I don't know what all made it that. Mav, I always liked that generation (and the one previous) of F250/350's. I'm probably going to end up with that same bumper, and it's an interesting idea to mount an antenna there. I'm looking into a CB for convoys, and I'm trying to decide where to put the antenna. Might have to do that.

| Iam in a 04 4-door duramax, I really like it, no problems, 18+ empty 15ish with my jeep.
I’d be in a ford if the 7.3’s weren’t priced as if they were made of gold in late 04, as that is when the 6.0 came out (that and my wife preferred the GMC, and she gets ½ a vote)
