My boys powerwheels started acting up and as I was looking at it, I had and idea and went with it and this is how it came out. We were testing it out, but he could only do so much with plastic tires. It did drive up the board in this picture though. And the item that was in the box is my new toy. Powerwheels truggy Icon_twisted

it’s all DIY and lots of projects.

This started as a Barbie jeep off CL, it’s to Truggy, but the boy likes it.

Thanks for the responses. I'm looking on modified power wheels right now for some other stuff. I cut out a lot of the plastic up underneath of it this afternoon. My boy loves it, until the battery died. I'm going to look at giving it more power later. My neighbor has the same truck, but with the bed still on and is running 24 volts with different gearboxes and some other stuff. His truck can do donuts all day long and you wouldn't even be able to catch him if you were running at a full sprint!

look on the link for ideas on different battery's too, saved a bundle not buying the PW brand battery.

OK.... you are now going to have to do a writeup on that. My kids have two that both need some love..... 24v style. And new paint etc....

Hmmmm.....Thinking about it I have several powerwheels sitting here severly outgrown. I am willing to donate to you folks for R&D or mod purposes. These are in poor condition (out in the weather), but should be fine for parts.

Well this one does not have any mods but as you can see our Ally was on the right track lol

She did this a while back I think it was last Easter.
