Sounds to me like the idle air control motor (IAC) is sticking. Get some throttle body/ carb cleaner, and clean the throttle body... pull the IAC off and clean off the pintle inside. These get all gunked up and start sticking. With the weather change it should be idleing higher now (IAC in a different spot) and the gook is holding it back. If it runs down the road ok this is probably the problem. Remember this is a guess, and you do get what you pay for. Carb cleaner is cheap though and this should be done every once in a while anyway. good luck and let us know what you find.
