I wanted to try to duplicate the results of the Evo rear LCA skids / shock relo brackets which claims an additional 1.5" of ground clearance. I do not have a "before" pic, but just take a peek under a stock JK.
In the pic below, you can see one of the two track bar bracket gussets added while the tools were out. The other is on the opposite side.
The stock shock brackets were moved up 2". It allowed me to use 2" over shocks with 3.25" springs. I checked the "up" travel and the extended bump stops prevent the shocks from bottoming out. The sway bar bolts were shortened 1/4". They can still be removed without removing the shock bolts.
All steel used was 3/16" stock and everything was MIG welded.
I am very pleased with the results and can't wait to test them out soon!!!
