Everyone I just wanted to let you know I had a good time being a member of Jeep Nation and the Chapter Leader for Waco. But I’ve decided to create a new jeep club and resign from Jeep Nation

The club I'm creating is going to be called Outlaw Jeep Club of Texas

Allan Hale and I are currently working out all the details as far as how the club will be structured, some events that we would like to host, the upcoming dates of our monthly meetings and a website. I will be sure to keep everyone updated.

Thanks,

Justin Dressen

Justin, Good luck with your new endevour. Do you mind telling us why you are leaving Jeep Nation? Something we said or did wrong?
Sounds like there is something you are not telling us.

We want to grow Jeep Nation, but I for one would like to know what we can do better to serve others in the Jeep community, I assume you are leaving because you do not agree or like the direction the Jeep Nation organization is heading to.

Let us know and give us some honest feedback.

And good luck with Outlaw Jeep Club, I am sure we'll run into each other on the trails.

confused here too. Jeep Nation seems like they will allow you as a Chapter leader to do anything you want here. I don't see why you would want to leave unless you are looking for ultimate power, or don't like something here.

Everything is still very new to all of us. We appreciate your support and understanding. If anyone has any questions please direct them to Justin or I personally. I know this is a forum and things should be out in the open. However being polite, and courteous we ask that all questions be directed privately. We do have a website under construction. If you would like to partake or browse it please ask!!

Why would I be asking about your new club on here? I sent out an email before Christmas to the Waco chapter that I never received a reply from?

I am glad that you edited that post. I am not sure if this is the place to air the details of your coup d'état. Perhaps they can create a OJC section or something.... most of us have been too busy with the holidays to keep up with what is going on. You had to know that it was going to create a bit of animosity from some of the members of the forum for doing that. But to each his/her own IMO.... it just seems to me that using your position with Jeep Nation to promote your new club by using the email list to email JN members is a bit of a dick move... I am not sure if I can explain what exactly the right move would have been and I don't know how I would have done it if I were in your shoes. Just remember to be respectful.

Good luck with OJC

To be polite I told everyone I was leaving through the Waco chapter email list and I did ask if anyone wanted to come over to OJC. But I did tell everyone in the email that there more than welcome to stay with Jeep Nation.

But for your knowledge I was the one who started the Waco Chapter, the one who planned all of the Waco Chapter events, the one who kept in contact with everyone in my chapter, and I was also the one who recruited all the members for my chapter minus one transfer from Houston. SO I DONT THINK IT IS A DICK MOVE TO USE THE WACO JN EMAIL LIST TO PROMOTE OJC. Because If I never contacted Jeep Nation in the first place there would of never been a Jeep Nation Waco Chapter.

That does make a little more sense.

anyone who is a Jeep Nation member in Waco is more than welcome to stay a JN member. There would be restructuring (need a new chapter leader). but other than that, pretty much the same. just fewer members until more joined again What a Face

good luck Justin.

Man...can't we all just forget about all the BS politics and just get together and have a good time wheeling every now and then? Talk about the junk we're wanting to install on our Jeeps and how we all don't have the money to spend on it all? Isn't that what all this is about??!? I don't know what happened, don't really care to know...this is all pretty Fggn ridiculous. Come'on!
