A good neighbor of ours was shott and killed last week while closing up his store for the night!

Here is part of his story.


A clerk in a rural Waller County store was murdered during a late night robbery Tuesday.
Reports from the Waller County Sheriff’s Office say that a convenience store clerk was killed at about ten pm Tuesday while working at Hammer’s Country Store, at the intersection of FM 1488 and Field Store Road. Two men entered the store and demanded money. Then they shot one of the two clerks working at the store.
One of the suspects is described as a white male, approximately five-foot eight with a thin build, blond hair and green eyes. No information is available on the second suspect.
Waller County Sheriff’s investigators asks that anyone who may have been in the area of the store at the time of the robbery and murder come forward with any information that could assist the investigation.
Texas Rangers and the FBI have joined the Waller County Sheriff’s office in the investigation. If you have any information please call Waller County Crime Stoppers at 979 826 8266 or the Sheriff’s Office at 979 826 8282.

It's been really hard to deal with. It hit home really hard most nights G goes up to the store and smokes cigars with Andy and his Brother. G helps them close down the store alot! I am really glad he wasn't up there that night.


Andy's sister in law Gia was there hiding behind the counter and watched the whole thing. she is very shaken up.

I wanted to give you all an update. They caught the guys who did it they are being held at the Waller Co Jail.

They were to young guy's cracked out on drugs, they robbed the store for more Drug money!

This sort of thing doesn't happen around here! It's been over 10 years sence our community has had a hommicide so it has been a scary seal.

just to let you all know the Rig show we had here last weekend is for a non profit org. called White Dove of Hope which was started years ago to help out needy members of our community. We have a rig show and demo derby about every 6 months.

We have donated to kids with cancer, family's who have lost a loved on and can not afford the funeral.

This past show we donated most of the proceeds to Andy's family.

To help out with bills! The store was closed for almost a week and alot of their merchendise had to be replaced not to mention they robbers cleaned out their daily cash intake for that day!

Yes the two were caught, the weapon was found and they are being held with out bond!
