Galveston Jeep Run 3/13 70+ Jeeps

Houston Jeep People having a jeep run March 13th. Anyone going?

Sounds cool too, Beach run a little more in my budget of broke as S^%$ if you know what I mean.

Yes, I am but we have to coordinate our schedules and make sure I can get off work to go down there...

The lady and I are going to Big Bend that weekend, so no can do for us =( I'll be out on the beach overnight the next weekend though, fishing. =)

If y'all happen to be around the SLP area at that time, hit the beach and say hi

* PINS was a freaking blast last time, the 60 mile run to the end was fun, old pic but a fun trip...

Not a problem - I usually do blog posts anyhow. Looks like we'll be staying at BBRSP, which, from what I hear, has better wheeling, and should be less crowded (they said sites w/o reservations should be no prob, all reservable sites at BBNP are already taken, and I've done the "busy season, wait in a four hour line just to find there are no primitive sites available" dance at BBNP before, and have no interest in camping in crowded conditions.) - and is right next door. I've been remiss for visiting BBNP every year, but never BBRSP.

My preference is, and always has been, to visit BBNP in September or October, Sep. is hotter, but you can actually be alone in the back country. I've gone five days without seeing another person out there. During the winter/spring, it's so crowded, you can see the beauty, but are often impeded in your travels by the stupid others.

Yeah- 70+ jeeps! Would look cool. But would be a very slow roll. I would much rather do a beach run with just a handful of friends.

I was being a smartass...think all of us had 35s..maybe 37s on the yellow UL, can't remember what his Jeep had, that was his son beside his jeep not me lol...

you're prob right on there...SLOW ROLL...but, I'll prob go for the ride as I've never gone on any of the previous beach runs for one reason or another and have been dying to do it...I haven't even been down to Galveston beach since I moved here!! I'll post up the details afterward...hopefully it'll be a nice day at the beach?! If anyone from the group here is goin - we're gonna hop into the caravan at I-10 and 45...I think at like 8:30 or somethin? You guys have my cel.
